Boca Grande Beaches
Boca Grande beaches are the perfect place for those who want a more primitive beach going experience. Located on Gasparilla Island, north of Sanibel Island, Boca Grande consists of 14 Gulf of America beach locations and 11 bay side locations. Not all beach locations have swimming access however, all offer stunningly remote views. Parking is tough in some areas. If you venture to the south end of the Island you will find more than a dozen walking paths that will lead you from the Gulf Blvd to the beach.

A Sunny Return We returned to The Island Inn for our first visit since Hurricane Ian and was heartened to see construction underway and Sanibel rebounding. We had a beautiful ocean-view room for six nights in the Matthews Lodge, which was extremely quiet and included a screened in balcony patio and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We encourage you to support this historic property. read more
