Island Inn is fully open and welcoming guests while construction is underway to bring exciting new shared amenities to the property. To ensure your stay is smooth and expectations are clear, please review the details below:
Current Property Conditions
- Pool and dining outlets are not currently available. New shared spaces and guest facilities are being redeveloped as part of Island Inn’s future vision.
- Daytime construction activity will be present in areas away from guest accommodations. Guest buildings and beachfront areas are not impacted and remain fully operational.

Reservation Policies
- A deposit of either 1 night + tax or 25% of the total stay amount (whichever is greater) is taken at time of booking.
- Reservations canceled or modified within 5 days of arrival will result in full forfeiture of deposit.
- Reservations canceled outside of 5 days are refunded in full minus a $35 processing fee.
- No-shows and early departures are charged 100% of the original total stay amount.
- Check-in is 3:00 PM; Check-out is 11:00 AM.
- A $250 hold is placed on your credit card at check-in.
- Two (2) parking spaces for conventional dual axle vehicles are provided per reservation.

Construction activity is focused on new guest facilities in areas separate from accommodations. Work is limited to daytime hours. Guest rooms and beachfront areas remain unimpacted. - Are all rooms open?
Yes — all studios and suites in the Matthews and Starky Lodge are fully open and operational. - When will pool and dining return?
These new amenities are currently in development. Timelines will be shared as construction progresses.
