Adventures in Paradise

Established on Sanibel Island in 1986, Adventures in Paradise Cruises hopes to bring you our love of the sea: not only fishing but also dolphins, manatee, sea otters, seahorses and shelling throughout the waters surrounding Sanibel & Captiva Islands!

On their ‘Backwater Fishing Cruise‘, groups of guests are taken grass-flats fishing in an average depth of four feet, using open-faced spin reels, popping corks and live shrimp. The captain and mate will be there every step of the way to help cast, reel, and yes bait the hook. (we understand not everyone wants to handle jumping shrimp) there’s no shame in it! All of your bait, tackle, rods and license will be provided. This is a catch and release excursion.

Private fishing charters with Captain Noah are also available. Reel in Tarpon, Snook, Trout, Redfish, Grouper, Snapper, and Shark. All fishing equipment, bait, tackle and license are provided! Up to 4 passengers comfortably, with 6 passengers maximum. Custom charters are also available.

Tarpoons

Offering inshore, deep sea & long range fishing charters, Captain Greg Hood provides Sanibel Island fishing charters for all skill levels. Catch Tarpon, Snook, Redfish & more! Captain Greg provides the boat, fuel, insurance, ramp fees, and tackle. Basically, everything you will need for a fantastic day on the water! Guests are asked to bring their own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen (please, no spray on sunscreen as it gets on the tackle and electronics), non-marking shoes, plenty of water and soft drinks, and whatever you’d like to eat. He recommends also bringing a bandana – You can dip it in the water and tie it around your neck to keep cool. And of course… Bring your camera to capture the action, there will be lots!
