Turner Beach
Turner Beach is a very popular destination for Sanibel Island visitors. Excellent fishing grounds, plenty of seashells, gorgeous sunsets and more make for a great time. Located on both sides of the Blind Pass Bridge, the currents here are strong so swimming is not recommended, but shelling is a must!
Parking for the beach is limited. The parking lot is open 7AM to 7PM and costs $6.00 per hour.
2 acres, West End of Island, Outside showers, Drinking fountain, Restrooms, 20 parking spaces, Handicapped accessible (free handicapped parking)

Restful, Quiet and Just Right! My husband and I stayed for three nights in April and had the BEST time! Our room was clean and well stocked, and the view just couldn't be beat. Ken and his staff were friendly and accommodating, and the best part having a room that was directly on the beach! We sat on the balcony at night and enjoyed the sound of the water, went shelling each morning and found our space at the Inn as a welcome retreat from our very busy lives back home. read more
Perfect Getaway! The Island Inn is an exquisite getaway on one of the best beaches we have ever been on! Accommodations and staff are top notch and the rooms have everything you could ever need and a few you didn’t know you needed! The shelling was as advertised as well. Great view! Island Inn was a great place to stay. We had a gorgeous view of the beach and a screened in porch with a ceiling fan. The suite was beautifully decorated and had plenty of towels and toiletries provided. We could not have been in a better location for shelling as there were numerous huge stacks along our stretch of the beach. Finally, Glory was very patient and knowledgeable with my many questions. read more
