Easter Boat Cruise & Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny
Celebrate Easter island style with a scenic Easter Cruise through San Carlos Bay, featuring dolphin sightings and a 1,000-egg hunt on Picnic Island for kids 11 & under! Easter pails provided.
The cruise departs on Sunday, April 5, 2026, with available times at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 10:45 AM. Tickets are $79 for adults and $59 for children. Reservations are required, and spots fill fast—book now for an unforgettable Easter experience! 🚢🌸
Sanibel Recreation Center Easter Egg Hunt
We’re excited to invite our guests to one of Sanibel’s most beloved spring traditions—Sanibel Island’s Great Spring Egg Hunt!
Join the fun on Saturday, April 4th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sanibel Ballfields for a festive morning designed for all ages. This vibrant community event features a butterfly garden experience, live DJ, contests, snacks, and plenty of family-friendly activities—plus the chance to meet the Easter Bunny!
With 10,000 eggs filled with treats and prizes, it’s truly a can’t-miss celebration of the season. Be sure to check out the face painting and Spring Bonnet/Hat Contest for even more fun.
A perfect outing for families and visitors alike—come enjoy a little “hoppin’ good fun” while you’re on island!
EASTER SERVICES
Join Sanibel Community Church for Easter Sunday services as they celebrate the joy of the resurrection on April 5. Worship begins with an 8:30 AM SCC Worship Service, followed by a variety of 9:00 AM ABC classes, including Asking the Right Questions: How to Read the Bible Intentionally and Maturing Marriage: Making Marriage More Christ-Centered. At 10:30 AM, attend the main SCC Worship Service or dive deeper into scripture with the ABC class The Letter to the Hebrews: Jesus the Better High Priest & Sacrifice. Families with children are invited to participate in SCC Kids at 10:30 AM, providing an engaging and meaningful experience for younger attendees during the service.
Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ
Your invited to Easter Sunday Service at 10:00 AM in the Sanctuary. This special worship will celebrate the triumph of God’s ways through music, prayer and a message from Rev. Dr. Mark Boyea.
Saint Michaels & All Angels Episcopal Church
Join St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church for a meaningful Holy Week journey and Easter celebration on Sanibel.
We begin with Palm Sunday services on Saturday, March 28 at 5:00 PM and Sunday, March 29 at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM, remembering Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
The Triduum continues with a Maundy Thursday service on April 2 at 5:00 PM, reflecting on Jesus’ Last Supper and His commandment to love one another.
On Good Friday, April 3 at Noon, we gather for prayers and a solemn reading of the Passion, remembering the depth of Christ’s sacrifice.
The journey culminates with the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4 at 5:00 PM, where we celebrate the light of Christ and the story of resurrection through scripture, symbol, and song.
Easter Sunday, April 5 offers three services at 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM, celebrating the joy and hope of Jesus’ resurrection.
All are welcome to share in this sacred season of love, renewal, and new life.
Join the community at Captiva Chapel by the Sea for a special Easter service on April 5th, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Located in the Captiva Chapel by the Sea Historic District, the chapel, built in 1903 as a schoolhouse, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and sits steps from the Gulf of America beach. As a seasonal, inter-denominational congregation, Captiva Chapel is dedicated to “seeking to behold the face of God in everything and everyone.” Worship services are held every Sunday at 11:00 AM from November through April, welcoming visitors year-round.
